Terms of Service

This document is the current Terms of Service for Blendoo and supersedes any prior version.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Blendoo ("the Service"), operated by Blendoo AI ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Description of Service

Blendoo is a multi-model AI chat platform. The Service includes, and may from time to time include, the following features:

• Multi-model chat — conversational AI assistance using multiple third-party AI model providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google)

• AI Expert agents — domain-specific assistants with specialized knowledge

• Trust Score verification — automated quality assessment of AI-generated answers

• Trust Certificates — documentation of verification results

• Conversation Memory — personalization derived from your conversation history

• Conversation Sharing — shareable links and collaborative conversations

• Social Studio — brand profile management and AI image generation

• MCP integration — access to selected tools via the Model Context Protocol

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, velocity caps, or credit restrictions

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization

• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, infringing, or violates the rights of others

• Use the Service to generate content that impersonates real individuals

• Generate content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or hatred

• Deliberately submit misleading queries to manipulate Trust Scores or obtain fraudulent certificates

• Use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we expressly provide

• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of the Service

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate responses, verifications, and images. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information

• Responses do not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise)

• You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and act upon AI-generated content

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI output

• AI-generated content may not be unique — similar output may be generated for other users

6. Trust Score and Trust Certificates

6.1 What Trust Verification Does

The Trust Score verification pipeline is an automated quality assessment that cross-references AI-generated answers using multiple AI models, structured adversarial review, and web-based source verification. It produces a numerical score and, when criteria are met, a Trust Certificate.

6.2 What Trust Certificates Represent

A Blendoo Trust Certificate documents that a specific AI-generated answer was submitted to our multi-stage verification pipeline and met all certification criteria at the time of verification. Specifically, a certificate confirms:

• The answer was independently evaluated by at least 3 AI model families

• At least 2 of 3 AI model families reached consensus on the core facts

• An adversarial fact-check found no critical issues

• Source verification against web sources scored above the certification threshold

• The weighted overall score met the minimum certification threshold

6.3 What Trust Certificates Do NOT Represent

A Trust Certificate is not:

• A guarantee that the verified answer is factually correct

• A substitute for professional advice in any domain

• An endorsement by Blendoo of the content of the answer

• A legally binding attestation of truth

• Equivalent to peer review, regulatory approval, or any form of accreditation

Trust Certificates reflect the state of AI knowledge and publicly available sources at the time of verification. Information may become outdated, and verification results may differ if the same query is submitted at a later date.

6.4 Certificate Revocation

We reserve the right to revoke any Trust Certificate at any time if we determine that:

• The underlying verification was affected by a technical error

• The answer has been found to contain material inaccuracies

• The certificate was obtained through manipulation or abuse of the system

Revoked certificates will be clearly marked as revoked on any public verification page.

6.5 Methodology Transparency

Our verification methodology is documented at blendoo.ai/trust-methodology. We may update the methodology at any time to improve accuracy and reliability. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.

7. Conversation Sharing

When you create a share link for a conversation or verification result, a URL is generated that allows others to view or, where applicable, join that conversation. You acknowledge that:

• Shared content is accessible to anyone with the link, including unauthenticated visitors for public read-only views

• Participant email addresses are visible to other participants and viewers of a shared conversation

• You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom

• We may display Blendoo branding and sign-up prompts on public pages

• You can revoke access at any time, but content already viewed or copied cannot be recalled

• For shared conversations, the conversation owner bears the credit cost of all messages sent within that conversation

8. Conversation Memory

The Memory feature extracts and stores facts and preferences from your conversations to personalize future responses. Memory is enabled by default and can be disabled at any time in Settings → Memory. You are responsible for the content you submit; do not rely on Memory to store sensitive information you would not want personalized into future responses.

9. Social Studio and Generated Images

Social Studio lets you create brand profiles and generate images using AI. You represent that you hold the necessary rights to any logos, brand assets, or other materials you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that generated images do not infringe third-party rights and comply with applicable law before any use or publication.

10. Credit System and Billing

• The Service operates on a credit-based system. AI interactions, trust verifications, and image generation consume credits.

• Credit costs vary by model and feature. Trust verifications and image generation consume more credits than standard chat interactions.

• Free accounts are subject to monthly credit limits; paid plans are subject to monthly, daily, and hourly limits as presented at the time of purchase.

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) according to the terms presented at checkout.

• Credits do not carry over between billing periods unless specified in your plan.

• You may cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which the account is downgraded to the Free plan.

• Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and our refund policy.

• We may modify pricing, credit limits, or plan structures; material changes will be communicated in advance.

11. Beta Features

Certain features (including MCP integration and Social Studio) may be offered as beta or admin-restricted functionality. Beta features are provided "as is", may be incomplete or unstable, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

12. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, codebase, verification methodology, and branding, is the intellectual property of Blendoo AI.

• You retain ownership of the queries and original content you submit and any original content you create using the Service.

• Subject to these Terms and the terms of the underlying AI model providers, AI-generated responses and images are provided under a license that permits you to use them for personal and commercial purposes.

• Trust Certificates may be shared and displayed, but may not be altered, forged, or presented in a misleading manner.

• You grant us a limited license to process and store your content as necessary to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including query content, verification results, memory data, and usage analytics. By using the Service you acknowledge that content is transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate responses.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party AI model providers and infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for:

• Changes to third-party model capabilities, availability, or pricing

• Content policies imposed by third-party providers

• Outages or degradation of third-party services

Your use of third-party AI output may also be subject to those providers' terms.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content or Trust Score results

• Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blendoo AI from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service

• Your reliance on AI-generated content or Trust Certificates

• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law

• Your sharing of conversations or verification results with third parties

• Content you submit, upload, or generate

17. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Nothing in this section deprives consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
